Elazar Rabbani is a founder, and former CEO of Enzo Biochem, Inc. and a Managing Director of Seraph Biotech Consulting, LLC. Elazar earned a BS in Mathematics and Chemistry from New York University and thereafter a PhD in Biochemistry from Columbia University. Elazar has authored over 20 articles in peer reviewed journals and is the architect of Enzo’s IP portfolio which includes over 500 patents and patent applications. Elazar is the lead inventor of most of Enzo’s patents which cover pioneering work in diverse areas of biotechnology that span from nucleic acid chemistry and molecular biology to immunology. He has recovered over $400 million through IP monetization and challenged industry giants in the healthcare and biotechnology industries.
